A London housing association is seeking a joint venture partner to deliver a new major regeneration scheme in north London.
One Housing Group said it was looking for a 50:50 partner organisation to plan, design, fund and deliver two estates which form part of the Camden Goods Yard.
The plan will see the current estate, which includes 202 homes, replaced by a new 650 to 700-unit development with homes available for existing residents.
The association, which manages over 16,000 homes, has committed to holding a residents’ ballot and has said resident engagement will play an integral part of the joint venture procurement process.
Mike Johnson, group director for development at One Housing, said: “This is an exciting venture and one which not only creates new replacement homes for current residents, but will also deliver new affordable homes.
“Strong and effective partnerships with our residents and the London Borough of Camden is the key to the success of this regeneration project and we look forward to receiving tenders from interested organisations.”
