The exit of Ms Llewelyn comes just a week after the association confirmed that it has abandoned plans for a merger with Accent Group, which would have seen the creation of a 43,000-home association.

Ms Llewelyn-Davies is a highly experienced social housing professional and has wide experience as a chair and non-executive board member at number of large associations.
