Places for People has formed a multi-million pound partnership with a Swedish builder #ukhousing

Places for People will build 39 homes in an £18m joint venture with the sustainable builder Trivselhus, in its first full development in the UK. The homes will be fitted with smart home technology from Apple.

The housing association, which owns or manages 195,000 homes across the UK, already has a 2,500-home development near the Sommar Place scheme, called Brooklands.

David Cowans, group chief executive at Places for People, said: “Places for People is committed to driving innovation that improves the quality of life in our communities – that’s why we’re delighted to be partnering with Trivselhus on this ground-breaking development.”
