Vistry secures planning permission for 826 new homes

Work on the site is due to begin in spring 2025 with the first homes expected to be occupied by early 2026.

A new primary school will also be built as part of the scheme. New green spaces will be created including allotments, community orchards as well as new cycle links, footpaths and highway improvement works.

Joe Turner, managing director of Vistry Manchester and Cheshire East, said: “We’re really excited that this development has been given the go-ahead following approval of the detailed plans by Cheshire East. 

“We’re pleased to be working alongside Bloor Homes to deliver homes in this growing area that will give local people a range of housing choices. 

“The additional contributions brought about by this development will help to create a thriving community in the north west corner of Crewe, benefiting the wider area for future generations to come.”
