The Welsh Government has announced a £1.34m package of measures to help rough sleepers in Wales over the winter.
All 22 councils in Wales will be given £25,000 for rough sleeper support services.
The four areas with most rough sleepers – Cardiff, Wrexham, Newport and Swansea – will be given additional funding.
Homelessness charity The Wallich will receive £50,000 to increase capacity at its overnight shelter in Cardiff and money will be given to its Rough Sleeper Intervention team in Swansea to run seven days a week as part of a £99,000 package for the area.
Wrexham Council has been awarded £77,600 to develop a system for different organisations to collaborate on helping rough sleepers engage with support services.
Julie James, minister for housing and local government for the Welsh Government, said: “As the weather turns colder, it is vital that the right support is available to ensure people can stay safe and warm this winter.
“We are working closely with local authorities and the third sector to ensure we are providing the right support to help people who are sleeping rough in Wales to leave the streets.
“People find themselves sleeping on the streets for a range of complex reasons, and they may require a great deal of support and understanding.
“We are committed to supporting them to find safe and secure housing, so they can achieve their full potential.”
