Collaborative procurement can help weather risks associated with market disruption, says John Skivington #ukhousing

In this video Q&A John Skivington, director of public procurement specialist LHC, explains the benefits of taking a collaborative approach using an LHC framework agreement.

He refers to a collaboration between a group of stakeholders who are redesigning the housing delivery process as a successful example of this.

Mr Skivington explains that a collaborative approach to procurement is so effective not only because working as a group provides better outcomes than working individually, but also because it allows for a sharing of risk and of learning.

The construction industry needs to innovate and change, he says. Any resultant disruption and risk is best carried through collaboration.
