Irwell Valley Homes development team

The development team at Irwell Valley Homes is made up of seven committed, skilled and experienced development professionals who consistently punch above their weight with regards to the breadth and variety of the schemes they undertake.
Irwell Valley paused its development programme in 2008 and only restarted it in 2018, so this team started from scratch just seven years ago. In the short time since, they have achieved a great deal.
Over the past year, the development team has delivered 202 new homes spanning seven developments across Greater Manchester in a mix of affordable tenures, all with a focus on sustainability and quality. Strong partnership work with developers, local authorities and other social landlords across the region is at the heart of this team’s success.
Work recently began on a new scheme for adults with learning disabilities in Bury, as well as on a new extra care scheme for people with dementia – all in the face of sector-wide concerns around viability.
The judges said:
“This small team has delivered an impressive range of schemes, balancing regeneration, specialist supported housing and net zero innovation with strong customer and stakeholder engagement”
