A Scottish housing association has commissioned an investigation following the resignation of three of its board members.
Maryhill Housing, which owns around 3,100 homes in Glasgow, confirmed that an investigation has been launched into potential breaches of its board member code of conduct following the departures.
A review of the internal process followed by Maryhill when dealing with potential breaches of the code of conduct has also been commissioned, the organisation said.
The basis for the investigation has not been disclosed.
According to a statement on Maryhill’s website, the chair of the board has voluntarily requested a leave of absence until the review is complete “in order to ensure the utmost impartiality”.
It added: “Given that the investigation and review are ongoing, it is not possible for us to comment further at this time.
“Maryhill Housing does not and will not tolerate breaches of our code of conduct or our values and we look forward to the swift conclusion of the investigation and review.”
