Circle Housing has launched the first in a series of short films about the unsung heroes of the sector to celebrate Housing Day.
The social landlord asked frontline housing staff and residents to be filmed for the project and the three films will show how they make a positive difference to their communities.
The first in the series (below) is about an urban community gardener from north London. It will be followed by films about a housing officer and a resident whose life was transformed.
Mark Rogers, chief executive of Circle Housing, said: ‘These videos provide a snapshot of how the unsung heroes in social housing are making a real difference to people’s lives thanks to their passion for our communities. As those in the sector know, these stories are typical of the thousands of selfless acts which happen every day for the good of others.’
