Spicer appointed housing advisor to Liverpool City Region mayor
The chief executive of Plus Dane Housing Group has been appointed as a housing advisor to the Liverpool City Region mayor.

Labour MP Steve Rotheram was elected mayor of the Liverpool City Region last month.
Barbara Spicer announced her appointment today via Twitter.

She tweeted: “Very pleased to be appointed as @MetroMayorofLCR advisor working with colleagues from the housing sector across #LCR securing housing growth.”
Ms Spicer has been chief executive of Plus Dane since 2015. She was previously chief executive of Salford Council and worked in government as interim chief executive of the Skills Funding Agency.
She was given a CBE for her services to education, learning and skills in 2015.
