Wates lands 13,900-home repairs contract

Wates Living Space Maintenance has been awarded a £24m repairs contract by London-based housing association Network Homes.

The contractor will provide a responsive repairs service for 13,900 Network Homes properties across 18 London boroughs and surrounding counties.   

Wates will also maintain empty properties under the contract, which runs for five years with an optional five-year extension.

Gerry Doherty, director of asset management at Network Homes, said: “I am confident we will keep improving and providing an excellent service to our customers.”
