A round up of what’s happening in the housing sector this week - 15 - 19 September
Tuesday
Statistical release: The Office for National Statistics will release its house price index for July.
Event: The National Housing Federation and Sheffield City Region are inviting housing professionals to discuss how to build more homes in the Sheffield City Region.
The Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) will host its annual housing asset management conference in Glasgow
Wednesday
Statistical release: The Welsh Government will release data on new house building between April and June 2014.
The Department for Work and Pensions will release its universal credit statistics until the end of June.
Welsh Assembly: The Housing (Wales) Bill will receive Royal Assent.
The Welsh environment and sustainability committee will continue its inquiry into energy efficiency and fuel poverty.

The CIH will host the event Welfare reform: impacts and effective delivery in Southampton.
Thursday
Statistical release: The Department for Energy and Climate Change (DECC) will release data on the domestic renewable heat incentive scheme for August.
DECC will also announce the number of domestic smart meter installations for Q2 2014.
Voting for the Scottish Independence Referendum will take place on the 18 September with a result predicted between 6.30am and 7.30am on 19 September.
Northern Ireland Assembly: The social development committee will be discuss planned maintenance for the NIHE.
Events: The CIH is hosting a housing policy symposium in Cardiff called The Big Question 2014.
ARCH tenants conference will take place in Birmingham.
House of Commons, House of Lords and the Scottish Parliament are in recess.
