The judging panel, including previous winner Peter Bond, selected Evie Copland, communications and innovation officer at Dumfries & Galloway Housing Partnership, Tom Forty, business improvement manager at Orbit, Christopher Irons, gas production team leader at Hyde and Alice Smith, neighbourhood team manager at Spectrum Housing, from the field of entries.

The finalists will now face a public vote and a gruelling series of challenges over the coming weeks to decide the final winner. Tasks include an ethics interview, a Twitter debate with the sector and presenting the sector’s career options to students.

“It is great to know that the future of housing is in such great hands,” said judge and incoming CIH vice president Alison Inman.
