Soha Housing has announced the appointment of a new chief executive.
Kate Wareing will take over at the 6,600-home Didcot-based landlord from July.
She will replace current boss Richard Peacock, who is retiring after 20 years at the association.
Ms Wareing moves from her current role as director of her company, Butterfly UK and Global Consultancy.
She has previously worked at Cherwell Housing Trust and Oxfordshire County Council, as well as leading Oxfam GB’s UK poverty programme.
She was also previously chair of Cottsway Housing Association.
“I am delighted and excited to join as chief executive. Soha is an organisation I have long had huge respect for that is committed to the communities it serves, and to putting residents at the heart of its business,” said Ms Wareing.
“I look forward to working with residents, staff, our partners and the board to continue Soha’s success.”
Mr Peacock said: “Kate brings a wealth of experience and great leadership skills to take Soha forwards.
“She will continue to develop Soha’s close relationship with residents, which we know makes a difference to people’s lives.”
