Inside Housing is launching a campaign with fire and carbon monoxide alarm specialist Aico to promote best practice in resident safety and to enable registered social landlords to provide widespread safe places to live.
During the campaign we will focus on three key areas:
Inside Housing would like to hear about a safety campaign that identified and tackled issues surrounding residential safety, engaged residents and executed it with measured success.
In particular, we’d like to hear about an outstanding communications initiative that has been completed. Whether small or large, it will be a strategy targeted at engaging with residents on safety in their home, with a further objective of how to keep safety on the agenda for issues of maintenance. For example, engaging residents to recognise risks and to give access to their home for maintenance teams to check and replace alarms. A successful initiative will inspire others to replicate.

All entries must be submitted online and be received by the extended deadline, 3pm on 13 September 2019. You may enter as many different campaigns as you like. The shortlist will be announced on 14 October 2019 and the judges’ decision is final.
