Another piece raising concerns about the housing market comes in at number nine. In this February story, housing associations in London warned that sales were slowing down.
It may well go down as the one of the shortest-lived housing policies of all time. In September, housing secretary Robert Jenrick announced a new ‘shared ownership’ Right to Buy scheme for housing association tenants.
The policy ultimately did not end up in the Conservative election manifesto a few weeks later, which instead included a pledge to increase the voluntary Right to Buy.
