A2 Dominion has launched two joint ventures with contractors to help it provide repairs work for its 34,000 homes.
The London and south east-based landlord will team up with Breyer Group and Mitie in 10-year deals worth a combined £150 million, covering responsive repairs and work on void properties.
A2 Dominion will take a 70 per cent stake in both joint-venture companies, with the respective contractors taking 30 per cent. The landlord will pay a fixed price for all work, with any surplus profit shared by the partners and reinvested into additional work.
Andrew Evans, executive director of operations at A2 Dominion, said: ‘The JV model is a more efficient and cost-effective delivery vehicle that will provide a first-class service to our customers while, at the same time, [offering]opportunities to generate additional revenue streams.’
