Livv Housing Group has appointed three people to the property leadership team.
The 13,000-home landlord has named Laura Johnson as its executive director of property, Kate Meredith as director of assets and George Phillips as director of Livv Maintenance.
They will lead Livv’s property team, which will oversee assets, empty homes, compliance and legal, repairs, environmental services and facilities management.
Ms Johnson joins from Bromford, where she was director of strategic property planning and sustainability.
She has also been head of UK retail property at BP, senior estates manager for supermarkets at Sainsbury’s and estates manager at Boots UK.
She is a chartered surveyor and brings expertise in long-term property portfolio planning and sustainability-driven projects, Livv said.
“Her experience and proven leadership will be pivotal in guiding Livv through the sector’s evolving landscape,” the landlord added.
Ms Johnson replaces Tony Cahill in the role, who has retired as executive director of property and director of Livv Maintenance.
Ms Meredith joins from Your Housing Group, where she was head of asset investment. She also spent 14 years at Stockport Homes Group, where she was head of customer safety.
“With a customer-first approach and robust track record in safety, compliance, investment and repairs, Kate’s comprehensive background will play a key role in ensuring Livv’s homes remain safe, sustainable and fit for the future,” Livv said.
Ms Meredith replaces Jacqui Campbell, who has joined Orbit as interim director of property improvements.
Mr Phillips was most recently head of repairs at The Guinness Partnership. He previously spent over a decade at Great Places Housing Group and began his career as an electrician.
“George’s wealth of knowledge will enable the continuous improvement of services and customer satisfaction,” Livv said.
Both Ms Johnson and Ms Meredith joined Livv in March 2025, while Mr Phillips joined in October 2024.
Ms Johnson said: “The work we do in the property directorate directly impacts our customer experience and supports Livv’s broader ambitions, from achieving net-zero targets to how we deliver our services.”
Léann Hearne, chief executive at Livv, added: “I am delighted to welcome Laura, Kate and George to the team.
“Their combined experience, strategic vision and unwavering commitment to putting the customer first will drive innovation, reinforce our sustainability agenda and ensure that every decision we make delivers real value for our customers.”
Ms Hearne recently announced that she was stepping down as chief executive after seven years in the role.
